Hi Tech Contracting & Restoration Corp recently completed a full exterior waterproofing restoration project in College Point, Queens NYC. Our goal was to deliver long-term protection, not just a surface-level fix.
Our team began by power washing the entire masonry exterior to remove dirt and debris. We then repaired missing mortar joints and masonry holes using high-quality waterproof Portland pointing cement. To seal and protect the structure, we applied Thorocoat waterproofing paint to the right and rear building walls—creating a durable, weather-resistant finish built to withstand NYC’s harsh climate.
All window lintels were scraped, primed, and painted, and every window perimeter was sealed with acrylic silicone caulking to prevent water intrusion and leaks.
This project provides a complete preventive waterproofing system, safeguarding the building from moisture, mold, and structural damage—before costly repairs become necessary.
